UPDATE on development




The project is not dead! :) I've been pretty busy lately, mostly working on making the engine more efficient and improving the game design overall. This meant reworking almost every detail in both game design and level design.
Features reworked:
- health system and health management
- weapon usage, stats and statuses
- enemies' AI got a massive improvement: entities now move in more natural way and have their own aggression and attributes more organised
- included working vending machines. Everyone likes to take breaks :)
- more interactive environmental props, like cabins' barricades, water dispensers and water tanks
- better engagement with environmental props with weapons/enemies
- improved bosses' states and overall fight design
- improved UI
- added a checkpoint system on top of the default save/load system
- improved events system
- added cutoff inside buildings
- improved lighting
- added fog system
- improved weapon selection
